$65.00

"This is another fish I love. I was exploring different kinds of metallics when I made this dude. He wasn’t necessarily meant to be a fish, but now I’ve decided he is a fish and he's from Wantastegok."

— Brandie Starr, April 2025

(Wantastegok refers to an area and body of water where the West River and the Connecticut River meet. "Wantastegok" is the name used by the Sokoki Abenaki people who lived in the area for 12,000 years. It is commonly known as "Retreat Meadows" near Brattleboro, Vermont, named for the Brattleboro Retreat, a psychiatric facility and campus founded in 1834 that still operates today.)

height, length, and depth: 8” x 10” x 1”
