“This is a pretty cool one. I added some cracks and used hot glue to raise certain areas so the cracks look deep. It’s just on canvas, but I love how it almost looks like it’s on a wooden background.
“Again, I was thinking about nature and getting really detailed—zooming in and filling in all these little cracks, which I probably made with a butter knife or whatever was within reach that I didn’t mind getting messy. When I’m in the mood to paint, I’ll use anything handy. This one is kind of cute—it almost looks like brains.”
